The greatest danger for our society is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, rather that it is too low and we reach it. Whilst a strategy is only as good as our ability to articulate it, a good first step is to first formulate a strategy - with our very own members. In the past century, SICOT's leaders have steered the ship relying on a compass of personal experience of wants and needs. It is now time we get intensely curious about what the world wants and needs. It is now time we, the SICOT leaders, ask of the question what our society has the potential to offer that is so unique and compelling that no other instrument could replace us, outsource us or even imitate our role and make it better, such that we wither into oblivion.
That is what this survey is about.
Fundamentally, we are all about our members and KPIs. (Keeping People Informed, Keeping People Interested, Keeping People Involved and Keeping People Inspired). A grave concern for any organization is when their most passionate people become quiet. This survey is thus a mouthpiece, a conduit of ideas. Our strength lies in our diversity and its fecundity. So please shout out your ideas! We aspire to move into the next centurial chapter of our society, with an increased level of comfort that fosters the flow of ideas whilst we remove the societal hierarchies that artificially divide us.
It is said, the most resilient of parasites is an idea - share yours with us today!
The questionnaire has been designed by the Society members with the assistance of an independent research agency. Only the research agency will have access to any individual responses or comments you provide; your contribution is confidential and anonymous.
Your confidential input would be very much valued.
